Paul Toupin
Paul is a designer at heart. He loves to build things that people appreciate. Though he has an extensive hardware, firmware and software design background it is his artistic, visionary style that truly differentiates his innovations. His works are exciting, elegant unique electronic and software products. He has patented several inventions some of which have done extremely well in the market place. Paul has many experienced years of firmware authoring for embedded processors and a strong understanding and experience with analogue and digital electronics. A recent project involved the conception, design and implementation of a cellular based communicator/tracking device suitable for use by young children. The design incorporated an innovative Single Action Audio Prompted Binary State Multiple Select ion Protocol. This protocol is suitable control scheme for many portable electronic devices.
Of relevance to game development is Paul’s work at Glenrose Hospital in Edmonton. Paul designed and implemented electronics and software for audio invoked brain stem response analysis. It was used by audiologists to assess hearing capability and later for assisting disabled individuals to control devices within their environment. This work gives a clear understanding of developing software to meet the demands of the user.
Paul was also involved at Royal Alexander Hospital in the design and implementation of electronics and software for analysis of heart beat, breathing, rapid eye movement, 02 and neural activity. The hardware and software assisted in research into cause of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
More recently he designed a family of cellular products for use by children, to serve their communications, entertainment and security needs. What differentiates his design is its lack of a key pad, display or the complexity of voice recognition. The user is guided by audio prompts presents their desire by a few simple gestures.

Although Brandon is only in his early 20’s he has achieved a remarkable level software development. A Paul says “he was born to code”. He has developed a web browser for the Apple TV unit. He has spent several years doing contract development for numerous companies. He also has a keen understanding of developing operating code to interface with imbedded systems.
Consultant
Lee Morin
Lee performs design evaluation and field test of gaming concepts for Situware.
Lee’s desire for new experiences lead him to join the Canadian military at age nineteen. He spent 11 years in the military as a communication technician with tours of duty in Iraq & Croatia. He also worked as a satellite technician in Bosnia and most recently in Afghanistan for NATO as a civilian contractor. These careers fuelled a passion for elegant design.
Ironically it’s his work in real theatres of war, with real adrenalin ridden situations, where Lee developed an appreciation of online war games and a keen understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of those games.
Lee brings an authenticity to Situware. He has real world understanding of military Command and control, communications, discipline, and the gritty feeling of field operations. He has desire to ensure that Situware’s games have realistic, engaging, truly physically and intellectually stimulating elements.
